Continuing to film her upcoming movie Soul Surfer, AnnaSophia Robb bundles up in a dark blue robe with a cup of Joe on the beaches of Hawaii on Sunday morning (February 7).
The 16-year-old actress will portray the real-life Bethany Hamilton, who was 13-years-old when she was attacked by a tiger shark while surfing along the shoes of Kaua’i.

Later in the day, AnnaSophia was seen filming scenes with an unidentified actor with her green-screened arm. Carrie Underwood, who is set to star as church youth leader Sarah, will join the actress on set on Monday.

A great white shark has attacked Eric Geiselman (New Smyrna Beach) while he was surfing off Laguna Road, Santa Cruz.

The 21-year-old pro surfer’s board was broken in half.

When he felt he was under attack, Geiselman paddled fast to shore, as he was 50 yards from the beach.

Later, the O’Neill Cold Water Classic California, held very close to the shark attack, got an alert call from the Floridian, who was also competing in the event.

Eric Geiselman, his brother and some friends were not injured.

Last week, Howard Stern made the surprising announcement on The Howard Stern Show that he deeply regrets that he never took up surfing.  Howard Stern, who is wildly neurotic about his looks, spoke on Wednesday’s show about his inability to get rid of his jiggling belly despite running for miles almost every day and eating a healthy diet.  Howard Stern mused that if he had become a surfer, he could have been fit for life as well as being more meditative and relaxed.  In what seemed to be one of the more serious and self-reflective moments of The Howard Stern Show last week, the King of All Media silenced his co-hosts briefly with his self-professed regret about never having “ridden the waves.”
