My Local Lineup launches TV show about San Diego Surfing 0

SAN DIEGO, CA — My Local Lineup, an action sports media company based in San Diego, has launched a new TV show all about surfing for all of San Diego County. My Local Lineup TV airs new episodes Mondays at 7:00pm and reruns Mondays through Fridays at 12:00am on iTV channel 16, Time Warner and Cox Cable. Following the My Local Lineup trademark, each show is committed to an all-inclusive and locally oriented approach, aiming at a portrayal of surfing that intimately resembles surf communities and covers everything from contests and industry to lifestyle and more. In that vein, My Local Lineup TV presents four shows: Top Turns, Drawing the Line, Caught Inside, and My Local Lineup 360.

San Diego Community Used Surfboard Swap Meet
Saturday & Sunday, June 20 & 21, 9 am – 4 pm Patagonia Cardiff

Sitting on a stack of used surfboards you can’t move on Craig’s List? Need to liquidate some so you can get a new one? Looking for a smashing good deal? Then come to Patagonia Cardiff’s Board Swap on June 20 & 21.

We’ll hold the event on our side patio and back parking lot. You’ll find short boards, fish, quads, bonzers, eggs, guns, logs, historical collectibles, and more. We‚ll have everything from barely ridden beauties to garage-sale beaters, priced accordingly.

Used board collections will be offered individually or in groupings by surfers from all over the San Diego County surfing community.* Admission is free.

Those interested in selling at the Board Swap must pre-register with Patagonia Cardiff. There is no fee to participate, and no commission taken from the any sales. Premier High School Surfing Competition Comes to San Diego 0

The top surfers from San Diego County-area high schools, including Carlsbad High, Point Loma High, San Dieguito High and Torrey Pines High

WHAT:
Red Bull Riders Cup, the nations’ premier high school surfing competition. Red Bull and the National Surf League partnered to create Red Bull Riders Cup to help bring the sport of surfing to a new and exciting level. The nationwide event brings together 34 high schools from eight regions to compete in a single elimination “March-Madness” style tournament. The Series utilizes the National Surf League’s “The Game” format, which was modeled after team sports such as basketball, football, and baseball. The Game format serves to bridge the gap between individual sports like surfing and more fan-friendly team sports. This revolutionary format includes two teams competing against each other, only one team in the water at a time, three periods, timeouts, coaches, referees and substitutes
