Patagonia said that on June 19 it launched a revamped Footprint Chronicles website with a new format that expands upon the company’s social practices. The Footprint Chronicles is an interactive mini website that reveals to consumers the good and the bad involved in manufacturing outdoor clothing.
The revamp adds the environmental footprint of 166 individual products to their website, becoming the only apparel manufacturer in Europe to offer the public such broad transparency regarding products’ impact on the earth. The updated website also offers live comments posted on Patagonia’s blog (the Cleanest line) about the Footprint Chronicles and hosts a new 15-minute video about Patagonia’s social responsibility efforts.
“We believe it’s important for our customers to know the true environmental and social impact of a garment they purchase,” said Casey Sheahan, president and CEO of Patagonia. “The Footprint Chronicles allows us to do this publicly – and helps our customers make better purchasing decisions.”

We’ll hold the event on our side patio and back parking lot. You’ll find short boards, fish, quads, bonzers, eggs, guns, logs, historical collectibles, and more. We‚ll have everything from barely ridden beauties to garage-sale beaters, priced accordingly.
Used board collections will be offered individually or in groupings by surfers from all over the San Diego County surfing community.* Admission is free.
Those interested in selling at the Board Swap must pre-register with Patagonia Cardiff. There is no fee to participate, and no commission taken from the any sales. A Surf Film & World Premiere DVD Release Show by Thomas Campbell
Saturday, June 13, 8 pm Patagonia Cardiff
Stop by Patagonia Cardiff for a screening of The Present, a colorful and artistic exploration of the beautiful environment surfers play in every day. We’ll have live music, the company of filmmaker Thomas Campbell, and some of the film’s stars. To celebrate this final screening on the film’s U.S. tour, the film on DVD will be available from Woodshed Films and VAS for sale four days prior to its national release. Will be available before and after the show, but stick around to get a signed copy by Campbell and some of the surfers.
